Meet the Team
Headed up by founder and CEO James Russell, Mean Time Development's team is made up of James, alongside Senior Developers Jon Atxa, Chris Staines and typically up to five long-term contractors.
The team has a wealth of experience in both front-end and back-end development across a wide range of industries and sectors. You can rest assured that your project is in a safe pair of hands.

CEO
James is Mean Time Development’s CEO. James is the founder and chief architect of the business processes, technology and operations that underpin Mean Time Development’s services. He liaises with existing and new clients to deliver the best possible service.
James has over 15 years experience with a focus across range of industry sectors in particular start-ups, SME’s and financial technology.
Outside of work James enjoys a wide variety of activities, ranging from endurance events to theatre and the arts.
Jon Atxa
Senior Developer
Jon is a Senior web developer specialising in PHP, Drupal, MySQL and HTML5/CSS3. Jon has a strong background in Drupal with extensive experience in theme and module development.
Jon is has lead a multitude of Drupal projects for a wide range of clients, including FTSE 100 listed companies in fast-paced agency environment with critical deadlines.
Chris Staines
Senior Developer
One of Meantime Development's core development team, Chris is an experienced Design and Technical Manager with a background working in Electrical and software design.
Skilled in C++, Javascript, Blockchain, Cryptographic / Crypto Currency design, PCB design, PLC Software design Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley, AutoCAD, LabVIEW, Engineering, automation and Project Engineering.
Chris has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) (Hons) focused in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Birmingham.
Louisa Lally
Operations and Project Management
With 15 years experience working in Client Services and Project Management teams within digital agencies, Louisa is responsible for all aspects of Project Management, Operations, Client Services and Marketing for Mean Time Development. As the team and scale of projects has grown, so too has the need for both more dedicated support for our clients and developers in addition to process and rigour for our projects.
Louisa's previous roles include Client Services Director at MerchantCantos and global3digital (now Investis Digital).
